The client for this project is an international Show Jumper and required a complete refurbishment of the existing American Barn together with three extensions in order to create a T shaped barn and enable all the facilities to be in a space under one roof.

The development created a new admin suite, a dedicated forage storage wing and a new therapy wing. The scheme also included replacement stable divisions and improvements to the original stables, including the installation of new windows into each box to improve cross flow ventilation.

The barn roof was replaced and the external walls re-clad above plinth level in grey fibre cement to reflect the client’s preferred material and colour pallette. This will create a long lasting, low maintenance facility for the client and their next generation of show jumpers.
