Planning Permission for 158 new residential units


KWA has worked with highly regarded developers, Hill Residential, to secure planning permission for 158 residential units in South Cambridgeshire.

KWA had secured allocation of the site for 80 units within the emerging Local Plan. KWA successfully secured allocation of the site within the emerging Local Plan in 2012. Following on from this, the developers appointed KWA to oversee the planning submission. KWA worked with the Local Planning Authority through the Design Enabling Panel process prior to submission and were involved in community consultation including engagement with the Parish Council and a local primary school to inform the final design. The development introduced much needed affordable housing at 40% and incorporated a mix of flats and dwellings ranging from one bedroom to four bedrooms.

The first phase of development is now complete with residents occupying the properties. The second phase of development is due to be completed in 2022.
