KWA has successfully delivered a bespoke racehorse rehabilitation centre in Berkshire for an international client, completed in time for the start of the racing season.

The prestigious facility comprises four high-quality American Barns, horse welfare facilities, a veterinary inspection room, equine spa, horse treadmill, and oval horse exerciser along with a Manager's House and suitable staff accommodation . A newly formed horse walk provides direct access to nearby grass and all-weather gallops, enabling injured racehorses to regain full fitness without the need to travel to the client’s Norfolk headquarters.

The project was delivered on time and under budget, despite extensive groundworks, demolition, and challenging weather conditions. Numerous renewable technologies were incorporated throughout, achieving an EPC rating of A, and ensuring a sustainable, high-performance facility designed to support the rehabilitation of elite racehorses.
